Part Time Finance Officer, Towcester, 16 hours per week, up to £36,000 pro-rata
Our client is seeking a Part time Finance Officer to join their busy and multi sited business.
Working 16 hours per week in this stand alone role and include the following responsibilities
- Review all income and expenditure statements, identifying any inaccuracies
- Ensure invoices are paid within the given time frame
- Maintain the computerized accounting system.
- Reconciliation and management of bank accounts.
- Banking of cash and cheques
- Maintain an effective system for the handling of petty cash and cheques
- Reconcile and process cash receipts
- Preparation of monthly payroll and deal with year- end
- Administer and manage pensions.
- Preparation of quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting
- Ensure that effective financial controls are in place and processes are adhered to
- Liaise with the accountants, in particular, in the preparation of the annual accounts
- Attend management meetings as required
- Cash-flow monitoring and forecasting
Suited to a candidate who holds all round accounting skills and can work to deadlines, on their own initiate and be confident at communicating at all levels.
