About the Role:
A leading engineering firm in Great Yarmouth is seeking a talented and experienced Production Engineer to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex electrical wiring and interpret electronic schematic diagrams.
- Assemble systems, sub-components, and panels to high standards.
- Utilize oscilloscopes and similar electronic test equipment proficiently.
- Assemble and inspect underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors.
- Evaluate current build and test processes, suggesting improvements.
- Generate detailed technical reports.
- Conduct assembly, wiring, testing, and fault finding on modules to component level.
- Test, fault find, and repair complex printed circuit boards to component level.
- Operate equipment involving potentially lethal voltages safely and competently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar production engineering role.
- Relevant engineering qualification.
- Strong understanding of complex electrical wiring and electronics schematic diagrams.
- Proficiency in using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes.
- Ability to test, fault find, and repair equipment efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines.
