Long-term Teachers is working closely with a Primary school based in the East Devon. They are looking for a KS1 Teacher for the new academic year in September.

This will involve all class planning and preparation, along with any other additional responsibilities required around the school. The school provides great support and growth within the role, in return they ask for a team member who can add to the current staff,

The school is looking to recruit a KS1 specialist, ideally with the majority of knowledge in year 1. You must be a great team player, the school prides itself on staff retention and a community feel. Due to the nature of the role, all relevant Teaching Qualifications are essential.

What will you do on a daily basis?

  • Lead the lessons, involving the planning and preparing
  • Marking and assessing
  • Show excellent curriculum knowledge
  • Manage behaviour effectively
  • Promote and nurture independence
  • Build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
