Secondary School Site Manager

  • Location: Peterborough
  • Job Type: Full-Time (52 weeks per year)
  • Hours: 37 hours per week (shifts include early and late)
  • Salary Range: £29,777 - £33,024 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the role of Secondary School Site Manager. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our school facilities, contributing significantly to our educational objectives by maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee site maintenance, ensuring all school buildings and grounds are fit for purpose and address any maintenance needs in collaboration with the Estates Area Manager and Principals.
  • Plan and progress the premises development plan, focusing on projects including energy conservation initiatives, and ensure best value for the academy.
  • Maintain and test all fire and security systems, keeping policies and procedures up to date, and conducting staff and student briefings on safe evacuation procedures.
  • Collaborate with the CMAT Estates Team to agree on an annual program of work and liaise with contractors for both planned and reactive maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to creating and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
