Our Ipswich based retail client are a growing business looking for a temporary assistant management accountant to join their team with the potential to turn into a permanent contract.
Description
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Support the Management Accountant and wider team with budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor and process expenses
- Management accounting
- Preparation of monthly financial statements
- Everyday transactional accounting such as; accounts payable, payment runs etc
- Review and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
Profile
- Experience of working in a similar Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant type role
- Ideally part qualified
- Good IT skills and accounting packages such as; Sage, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks or Xero
- Strong analytical skills
