A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our client's busy production site in South Liverpool.

You will be responsible for the supervision of labour to ensure the smooth operation of the cleaning and waste operations. Ensuring that Company Human Resources procedures are followed and maintain good communications with the customer/associates.

The shifts will be Monday to Friday 14:00 till 22:00. Please note that during training the hours will be 6:00 till 14:00. This is immediate start for the right person, if you feel you are suited to the role and possess the following below, please apply with your updated CV.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Supervising and planning operational cleaning activities, including overtime requirements, in order to provide the timely delivery of services to a standard which meets and exceeds that required by the customer.
  • Supervising and planning operational waste collections/processing activities, including constant review/amendment of waste assignments.
  • Overseeing operational resources to ensure efficient working both as teams and as individuals.
  • Ensuring that cleaning operations are undertaken in a safe manner.
  • Risk assessments and method statements are available and up to date.
  • All current best practices are followed and shared.
  • Visual aids are available and used.
  • Necessary PPE is provided and used.
  • Materials are handled in accordance with COSHH.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of Company Human Resources processes, particularly with regard to grievance and disciplinary procedures, ensuring they are carried out correctly, and seeking support from management where appropriate.
  • Developing and delivering presentations to management, colleagues, and customers.

The successful Candidate will have the following skills:

  • Possess relevant cleaning and waste knowledge and experience and be comfortable leading and supporting teams of employees.
  • Previous cleaning experience is essential.
  • Have a strong understanding of applicable Health and Safety regulations and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have people management experience, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and delegate work as necessary, and work to tight deadlines.
  • Reliable and hardworking.
  • Team player and able to work alone.
