You will help us to find ways that make it easier for residents to engage with the council, as an organisation, and work alongside our partners, businesses and residents so that communities can shape where they live.

About the Role

In this role, you will help us to meet residents where they live to seek and listen to a diverse range of views. You'll bring people together to learn from, and join up with, each other and be receptive to new ideas within communities. We use a wide range of social media and digital software tools, as well as traditional and in-person engagement methods, to connect with residents and communities. The role requires creativity, flexibility and will involve countywide travel to ensure we reach people in meaningful ways.

This role would suit someone who is highly creative and confident in using social media and other digital tools and platforms. You'll need to enjoy meeting and speaking to people from diverse neighbourhoods and backgrounds and giving a voice to new and under-represented groups, interests and ideas.
