A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Junior Candidate with some exposure to Regulatory Reporting to join their Regulatory Operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a centralized unit responsible for overseeing day-to-day compliance for regulatory reporting and exception management in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and monitoring of controls for regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Review and enhance key metrics, KPIs, and reporting for various regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and proactive exception management.
- Assist in the remediation of failed controls, data analysis, UAT testing, and reporting remediation tasks.
- Document issues, testing, and resolutions, maintaining audit trails and standardized approaches.
Requirements:
- Experience in compiling and analyzing large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and documentation management.
- Familiarity with exception-based controls and processing within a controlled environment.
- Understanding of regulatory reporting and risk and control (preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's degree, industry certifications (e.g., FCA modules).
