Interim Treasury Officer

Robertson Bell are supporting our client to recruit an Interim Treasury Officer on an initial 12-month FTC, which has the possibility to become permanent. The head office is based in North-West England, operating on a hybrid working pattern – asking that two days be spent on site and the rest from home.

The Interim Treasury Officer's responsibilities will include:

  • Posting bank payments, rent payments and cheques.
  • Monitoring each finance inbox and answering customer queries – over email and telephone.
  • Reconciling the bank statements and petty cash.
  • Setting up new suppliers on the system and ensuring the data is correct, investigating discrepancies, which will involve making calls to collect the relevant information.

The successful Interim Treasury Officer will have:

  • Experience working in a similar Cashier / Treasury role, having monitored a busy finance inbox in a previous role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to resolve cashier queries with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience using numerous financial accounting softwares and strong Excel skills.
