Description
- Processing payroll on a timely and accurate basis
- Handling payroll queries and resolving issues effectively
- Ensuring compliance with all payroll legislation and company policies
- Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team including Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions.
- Preparing and submitting payroll reports for management review
- Maintaining confidentiality of payroll records and information
- Assisting with audits and payroll reconciliations
- Keeping abreast of current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws
Profile
A successful Payroller should have:
- A strong background in payroll processing
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office suite
- Sound understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Outstanding communication skills to handle queries and issues
- Ability to work well in a team and independently when required
