IT Support Technician
Salary - Up to £28,000 with excellent benefits
Hybrid - 3 days on site
Bristol - Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
We have an exciting opportunity to join a non-profit organisation as an IT Support Technician. We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience dealing with wide range of IT issues and have a passion for helping people.
Responsibilities:
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Both Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
- Utilising your experience with Active Directory to manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, to provide support and troubleshoot issues.
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, particularly Hyper-V, to manage and maintain virtual environments.
- Awareness of data and server back-up technologies and methodologies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Being a confident and credible communicator, capable of interacting effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
- Managing end-point security, including anti-virus and patch management, to safeguard our IT infrastructure.
- Working independently and demonstrating an aptitude for identifying and solving technical problems efficiently.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will need a Full UK drivers licence and their own vehicle capable of transporting IT equipment to and from site - This is essential for the role
- At least three years' experience as an IT help desk technician
- ITIL processes including incident, problem, change and asset management
- Evidence of problem solving and troubleshooting to achieve a successful outcome
