The Accountants Recruiter is actively recruiting for a part time FD to work with one of our accountancy clients on a remote basis.
This could be a great opportunity for someone that's looking to return to work and wants to ease themselves into a bigger part time role or even someone who wants to keep their hand in.
In this role you will be working closely with the Director for them to transition from being hands on service delivery to more strategic lead and growth driver of the business.
What we are looking for;
- A master with onboarding new clients and deliver client work to a high standard
- Experienced with financial modelling and can build 3-way forecasts easily without the need for specialist tools
- Excellent at managing your own time, and at times that of others and priorities to match deadlines and customer requirements
- Someone who likes to be part of a team but is comfortable with working on their own with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience with XERO and apps that connect with it, some experience with SAGE 50 would also be an advantage and bonus points if you have experience migrating it to XERO and SAGE 200
- Experience working with SME businesses within an accounting practice is essential.
- Ideally you will have an accounting qualification such as CIMA / ACCA / ACA / ICAEW however QBE may be considered.
- Positive, resilient and flexible attitude is a must
- This role is a remote position however it would be great to be based near the director to have some in person sessions - Sandy, Bedford, St.Neots, Hitchin, Letchworth and surrounding villages however anywhere UK based would also be considered for the right person.
This is an employed role - 1 day a week.
FTE salary £70k-£80k
