Support Worker - Young Adults Transitions Day Service - Part-Time

We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in supporting individuals with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will deliver high standards of social care in line with CrossReach's objectives, working without direct supervision to meet the needs of service users as outlined in their care plans.

Responsibilities include providing flexible personal support, conducting risk assessments, assisting with life skills training, and supporting service users in work, leisure, education, and employment pursuits. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with relatives, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

The ideal candidate will have an SVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in the caring field. Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet use, is essential. Candidates must have a Christian faith, uphold our Christian ethos, and be members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
