Your new company
Hays are proud to be working in partnership with an established organisation with operations in East Lothian who are looking to make the appointment of a new Finance Manager. You will be responsible for executing all processes accurately and promptly. Additionally, you'll collaborate with peers in your specialism to implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) aimed at assessing both control measures and operational efficiency.
Your new role
This is a varied role that will expose this individual to multiple business settings. The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Efficiently manage the finance functions, working to strict guidelines and deadlines in order to achieve defined outcomes for the business.
- Perform month end, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting
- Stakeholder management and interaction with multiple stakeholders
- Review and reconciliation of the balance sheet on a periodic basis producing appropriate
- Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are implemented and followed within your team, working closely with the Controller to implement continuous improvement
- You will have line management responsibility for 2 individuals.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have great management accounting experience, a can-do attitude and great communication skills.
