I am working with a local council who are working on a new project and investing funds to support new job opportunities and new homes over the next 20 years.
You will be responsible for maximising the financial and non-financial benefits of the project. You will full fill the client role for the Fund, commissioning internal and external colleagues to buy land, secure planning and other legal documents, and appoint Design and technical consultants onto each project.
Responsibilities:
Supported by a fund, asset and lettings team you will lead a multi-disciplinary team.
- Appraise a development land opportunity for potential acquisition - working closely with the project fund and asset managers to ensure all risks are covered
- Lead on the negotiations of the agreement for a development project. Including providing evidence of progress, efficiency and value for money for the project.
- Lead the design and technical consultants during RIBA stages ensuring health and safety is promoted.
- Lead on securing planning permission for a town centre refurbishment project - working closely with the Project Managers
- Ensuring all financial and non financial outcomes are maximised
- Meet with the assets and lettings team to discuss the performance of lettings, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Pro actively identifying and managing risks
This job requires you to be mobile throughout the operational area, therefore you will need to have a driving license and a vehicle.
