Are you a qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA) looking to drive change in a multi million £ business? Are you looking to take ownership of a business unit and manage stakeholders?
We're on the hunt for an Operations Finance Business Partner to join our clients operational finance team, following a promotion. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll develop excellent working relationships with finance and operations, ensuring the financial reporting is spot on and helping our client continue on their path of growth. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the Willenhall head office, and a salary of up to £55,000 on offer.
Superb communication skills and experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment will set you ahead of the rest. You'll manage multiple sites across the business, challenging performance and using your excellent Excel and reporting skills to communicate important data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Producing the Operations P&L, diving deep into variances with production leaders, and driving efficiencies.
- Managing our relationship with our 3rd party Distribution Centre, pushing for cost savings and maintaining a solid working rapport.
- Attend monthly site visits to review performance
- Preparing monthly stock analysis and group reporting, including UK consolidated Sales and Margin analysis.
- Maintaining standard costs on the system and reviewing purchase price variances and other system variances.
- Auditing and reporting on Perpetual Inventory Counts and being a key player in the annual stock count.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Someone with a background in manufacturing accounting, stock experience would be hugely beneficial!
- Great Excel and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX would be a bonus).
- A problem-solver who thrives under pressure and tight deadlines.
- A strong communicator who can build partnerships across the business.
