Business Development Manager

We have partnered with a successful Firm based in the Birmingham City area who are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager following a successful period of growth.

This permanent, full-time position based onsite at their open plan offices, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

We would like to hear from applicants who:

  • Have experience In a legal/similar setting.
  • Demonstrated Business Development experience.
  • Comfortable managing your own workload and working to deadlines.
  • Leadership experience desirable but not essential.
  • Confident communication both written and verbally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the

Business Development Manager

Role:

  • Reporting into the Director/Head Of, providing leadership and guidance to the New Business Team.
  • Monitoring performance, providing leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Arranging and meeting new clients.
  • Managing and maintaining existing business relationships.
  • Identifying areas for growth and working with Director/Head of/team to achieve targets.
  • Monitoring conversion levels with introducers.
  • Project work: liaising with Marketing Team to discuss market strategies.
  • Provide support to Fee Earners with sourcing new business.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc admin and other duties when required.
