Description
As Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
- Develop and implement quality standards across our manufacturing processes.
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials.
- Using key Quality methodologies such as; 8D, PFMEA, PPAP you will analyse failure, corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
- Facilitate training and development sessions on quality control activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and performance.
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
- A Bachelor's degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with quality control software.
