This Quality Engineer role requires a strong understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes, capable of improving the overall quality of our products and services. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively within our Engineering and Manufacturing department to maintain and enhance our high standards, creating a product that is reliable and sturdy.

Description

As Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Develop and implement quality standards across our manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials.
  • Using key Quality methodologies such as; 8D, PFMEA, PPAP you will analyse failure, corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions on quality control activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and performance.

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with quality control software.

Job Offer

  • An estimated annual salary of £40,500 - £50,000
