Finance and Administration Support 4 days per week

A highly reputable non-for-profit association is looking for an organised and detail-orientated individual to join the team as a Finance and Administration Support You will be responsible for a range of financial and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the association.

The ideal candidate will have some bookkeeping/finance experience and be a confident administrator. Previous use of Quickbooks/Xero or similar will be ideal. The role is office based, core working hours 8.30am - 4.30pm, 4 days a week.

Full training and support will be provided by the small, friendly team. The organisation prides itself on the longevity of its employees. Due to the location of the office, ideally you will be a driver, there is free parking on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping: financial transactions, including receiving, logging, and paying invoices, processing expenses, raising and sending invoices, recording payments, and reconciling bank accounts.
  • Membership Support: Process new membership applications, send out welcome letters and invoices to new members, and provide ongoing support to association members.
  • Meeting Planning: Plan and coordinate the annual calendar of meeting, update the meeting planner on the website, and ensure all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Office Organisation: Handle telephone enquiries, manage office supplies, coordinate offsite meetings, liaise with IT support.

Key Requirements

  • Previous bookkeeping / finance experience
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Xero or similar is preferred
  • Well organised and good attention to detail
  • Able to work well independently and in small team
