Finance Business Partner - Marketing & Loyalty

The Role:

As an integral member of our UK&I Finance Business Partnering Team, you will collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and Loyalty Director. Your role will focus on maximising brand engagement, customer acquisition, and retention, while ensuring optimal ROI. This position is crucial for leading financial strategies in our evolving Loyalty program and steering our transformative "Customer First Plan."

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of all marketing campaigns, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in month-end closures.
  • Oversee annual and in-year planning and forecasting for Marketing and Loyalty.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Lead the financial review and strategy adjustment for our new Loyalty program.
  • Evaluate marketing effectiveness to optimise future investment strategies based on ROI data.
  • Support strategic modeling for our 3-year Customer First Plan.
  • Develop and mentor one direct report, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Location: This role operates on a hybrid basis and we would expect colleagues to spend 2 - 3 days each week in our Nuneaton Hub. There may also be occasional travel to other locations.

The Person:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant, or equivalent work experience, with a relevant degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Familiar with Business Partnering and experienced in collaborating with various business units.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior management.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and strategic financial planning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of driving team success.
  • Robust analytical skills, focusing on ROI optimisation and decision-making.
  • Adaptable to dynamic business environments and capable of leading through change
