Front of House Porter

Location – The Portland Hospital, Great Portland Street, London

Permanent, Full time, 40 hours/week. Monday – Sunday various shifts between 7:00 – 21:30. On the very rare occasion, you may be asked to cover a night shift (20:00 – 8:00)

Salary - £27,352 per annum + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

There is an exciting opportunity for a Porter to join our Hotel Services Team based at The Portland Hospital. This is a vital role in providing a portering/security service of the highest quality to all departments, staff, patients and visitors.

What you'll do:

  • Collection of blood around the hospital
  • Waste collection
  • Moving items when required
  • Delivery/collection of mail, linen, drugs and other items as requested
  • Assisting patients with luggage and escorting them to their rooms
  • Relieving receptionist staff during breaks

What you'll bring:

  • Previous Porter experience is essential
  • Good Communication skills
  • Clean Driving License
