Part Time Booking Coordinator

Our client is an industry leading interpreting business located in the heart of Buckinghamshire. They have been around for more than 20 years and offer professional services from Sign Language, speech to text , lip speakers and more. They offer a full range of services for all Interpreting and Translation requirements. They work with clients who are looking for a 1 off appointment, through to a volume contract. Due to recent growth, their team has expanded, so it's a very exciting time to join.

As a Part Time Bookings Administrator you will be the first point of contact for clients who would like to book an interpreter and for language professionals attending assignments. You will be responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day services.

Hours of work:

Working hours would be rota based: We are happy to see candidates who are looking for morning or afternoon shifts. Start time can be flexible. Operational hours between Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm you maybe asked to work a Saturday - 1 or 2 per month, agreed in advance. Hours for Saturday would be between 9am-3pm.

Salary; between £10,000 - £11,500 (based on the pro rate salary of £23,000)

As a bookings administrator your key duties will include:

  • Dealing with bookings and queries, efficiently in a fast paced, call centre environment.
  • Answering all calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Providing and maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
  • Keeping client and interpreter records up to date - so there is a high level of data entry involved
  • other office admin, including filing.

As the successful bookings administration, you will:

  • be a confident, self-motivated and have a friendly and personable manner.
  • be able to multi-task and work under pressure at times.
  • be a strong verbal and written communicator.
  • be able to manage you time and work to deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.
  • have an intermediate knowledge of word, excel and outlook.
  • be able to work as part of a team, but also independently when required.
  • be a team player.
