Job Description:
As a Second Line IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support to our users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of IT services. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining system integrity, with a strong focus on ServiceNow and Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second line support for IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management, ensuring all issues are properly documented and tracked.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user account creation, group policies, and permissions.
  • Support and maintain IT systems and infrastructure within a luxury retail environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with the first line support team to identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of hardware and software, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation, providing assistance during off-hours as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Second Line IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in using ServiceNow for incident and service request management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working within a luxury retail environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
