**Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our property management company based in Faversham on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is suitable for ambitious graduates looking to start their career in finance, as well as experienced individuals seeking a new challenge. The ideal candidate must be immediately available to join our team, with a salary offering up to £28,000 depending on your level of experience.
**Day-to-day of the role:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Completing purchase orders and managing payroll.
- Completing bank reconciliations and processing business expenses.
- Assisting with budget preparation and managing records and receipts.
- Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions.
- Providing administrative support to the finance team.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
