CMS are looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

About the Role
This is an entry level position where the requirement will work as part of a team to support the firm's information security management system. The role will help to support a robust programme of information security assurance activity ensuring that issues are identified, reported, addressed/escalated or accepted as appropriate.
- Maintaining compliance in line with relevant security frameworks/standards such as ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls, and regulation such as the GDPR.
- Participating in information security control and risk assessments.
- Assisting with the creation, update, and maintenance of security program documentation.
- Completing regular data asset audits to ensure accuracy of records and to identify data flows and repositories.
- Manage internal and external client due diligence requests on behalf of Information Security Team.
- Supporting development of policies and procedures.
- Assisting in defining and executing security projects.
- Promoting information security awareness across the organisation.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Educated to degree standard.
- Minimum of 12 - 24 months information security experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Some experience of working with the ISO27001 standard.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of ITIL preferred.
- Desire to build own information security knowledge.
- Self-motivated individual with flexible approach to working.
