Altum Consulting have partnered with a leading global media company to recruit a new Head of Finance. This role drives the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance for the division, providing analysis and delivering insight linking financial reporting to business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of Financial Reporting for the Group in partnership with the CFO
- Deliver close collaboration via written and verbal communication with the Group Finance leadership and C-Suite team to discuss segmental finance understanding across the business.
- Provide sound financial advice and support to new strategic plans and investment opportunities
- Sit across all financing relationships held by the business including Group debt facilities, bonds, loan terms and corporate finance
- Be the senior point of contact for external audit and internal audit partners, leading the business through any engagement and queries.
- Financial compliance, controls and reporting standards
Key Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with an Audit background in a top 10 firm
- Have strong Financial Controls experience, delivering audit requirements and leading large, de-centralised teams
- Media industry experience preferred
- Comfortable presenting to senior and board stakeholders
- Technical in nature and strong across Group Financial Reporting
- Have very strong communication skills with lots of drive
