Junior Recruitment Coordinator

Job Overview:

We're looking for a Junior Recruitment Coordinator who is a whiz at administrative work and has a keen interest in recruitment. In this role, you'll handle a variety of administrative tasks to support our client's recruitment team, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information, job postings, and recruitment progress.
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and other recruitment-related events.
  • Prepare and distribute recruitment materials such as interview guides, feedback forms, and job descriptions.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Assist with posting job ads on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Handle routine correspondence and communications with candidates and clients.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and handling mail.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled with care.

Who You Are:

  • Previous experience or internships in an administrative role; exposure to recruitment or HR is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is a bonus.
  • Discreet and trustworthy, with a knack for handling confidential information.

Reading based - Hybrid: 1-2 days meet ups a week.

Part-time: around 20 hours a week.

Pay is circa £12 per hour

Initally a 6-month contract with scope to extend further.
