This is a brilliant opportunity for HDR litigators seeking an alternate career path. You will need to have some strong litigation experience and ideally have been working within housing disrepair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in managing compliance-related issues across the firm.
- Maintain and update various central risk registers, including complaints and professional indemnity notifications.
- Liaise with other members of the Business Support Group on relevant projects.
- Assist in conducting file reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Conduct ad-hoc research in all areas of risk management to support the compliance function.
- Stay updated with the latest legal and regulatory information and changes, ensuring the firm remains compliant.
Requirements:
- Approximately 3-5 years of litigation experience.
- Experience in housing disrepair.
- Understanding of compliance and risk management principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive approach to staying updated with legal and regulatory changes.
