School based Site Manager / Caretaker

Reed Education are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Oxted as a Site Manager or Caretaker. This role requires working hours from Monday to Friday. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and offer training and development opportunities for those aspiring to progress into a Site Manager role.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Ensure the security of the school premises, including opening up and ensuring it is safe for staff and children.
  • Manage health and safety issues in collaboration with the School Business Manager.
  • Oversee contractors and planned works on the site.
  • Manage the school's cleaning staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to professional development.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
