Our client is a friendly, expanding boutique accountancy firm, looking to recruit a part or fully qualified practice accountant with at least 4 years' experience. Although small, they are able to offer a unique level of service, and there are excellent opportunities for future progression.
They use Xero for bookkeeping, payroll, vat, personal tax and all the way to accounts [preparation.
Supporting the growing client base, you will be performing the following tasks:
- Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102/105
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Preparing personal tax computations
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns
- CIS Returns
- Payroll reviews
- Pre year-end planning work to provide clients with projections and performance reviews
- Management of deadlines and workflows
You will also help support and develop more junior staff.
The role could be full or part-time, to suit your requirements, and would ideally be a hybrid arrangement. Applications will be most welcome from local candidates from Blockley, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Shipston-on-Stour or Chipping Norton, although candidates from further afield could be considered.
Benefits include 33 days holiday (inclusive), and a 3% Nest pension. Arrangements around Christmas are flexible to suit your requirements.
