Our client, a well-established and growing company that supplies promotional merchandise to high-profile clients across the United Kingdom and Europe, is currently seeking a confident and proactive Sales Co-ordinator to join their friendly and fast-paced team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a varied role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring smooth order management from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to client enquiries by telephone, email, and through the company website
  • Preparing and sending client quotations while maintaining profit margins
  • Ordering product samples and catalogues as requested
  • Managing sales orders from initial contact through to completion
  • Placing purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring correct artwork is included
  • Liaising with suppliers daily to progress and troubleshoot orders
  • Keeping clients informed on the status of their orders and resolving any queries
  • Managing stock for ranges held in the warehouse and with preferred suppliers
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to grow client relationships
  • Attending trade exhibitions when required
  • Supporting colleagues as necessary
  • Promoting the company professionally and positively at all times

Candidate Profile:

  • A good general education
  • A minimum of two years' experience in an office or administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet systems
  • Some knowledge of website content management would be beneficial but is not essential
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Capable of working under pressure and using initiative
