Permanent vacancy - Warehouse Supervisor
Salary - £29,000 plus £3k shift allowance - £32,000
Location - Paisley
Working hours - 10pm - 7am
Working days - Sunday - Thursday
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join one of our clients based in Paisley. You will be the first point of contact for warehouse staff, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our team in their daily duties. You will also be responsible for processing daily warehouse administration, paperwork, and emails, while ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse staff, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Guide and support staff with their daily duties, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Process daily administrative tasks, including managing paperwork and responding to emails.
- Utilize Excel for data entry, reporting, and emails
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols within the warehouse
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently; a valid forklift license is required
- Drive company vehicles as needed; a valid driver's license is required
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues promptly
- Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred
- Cold/Frozen experience preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and email communication
- Valid forklift license and driver's license
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
