People Systems Administrator

This is a hybrid working position with occasional travel to a local offices within the clients operating regions which include Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon & Cornwall and London.

Our client is seeking a People Systems Administrator to join their People Operations team on a temporary basis for approximately 5 months. This role requires someone with a strong Systems Administrator background along with HR experience. Knowledge of Dayforce would be extremely beneficial.

Training will be provided virtually, so managing your own workload whilst working from home will be really important.

You will play a key part in the implementation of the clients new HR technology, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance.Following the implementation phase, you will continue to work in conjunction with the People team to maintain these systems on an ongoing basis.

People Systems Administrator main duties:

  • Collaboratively working with the Programme Delivery Group (PDG) to ensure the seamless implementation of a new HR System through the project into BAU
  • Collecting, analysing, formatting, maintaining and importing migration data into People systems ensuring data integrity
  • Carrying out system administration activities, producing and maintaining related process documentation, guides and training as required
  • Working in conjunction with the People and IT teams with integrations between the People, Payroll, Workforce Management, and other systems
  • Participate in UAT, SIT/SAT throughout
  • Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Provide general, day-to-day support to the People Operations team and wider People team, enabling resilience in the team by supporting with Transactional processes as required
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks that are required

People Systems Administrator skills and experience:

  • Working on successful projects with a collaborative team effort
  • Supporting an HRIS solution
  • Collaborative approach to stakeholder management and networking with the ability to communicate with all levels including senior management
  • Co-designing system solutions with end user experience at the centre
  • Supporting system integrations
  • Understanding of Data Management principles and best practices
  • GDPR and Data Governance policies and standards
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package: Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams, SharePoint; PowerApps, PowerBI would be advantageous
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent active listening, verbal, written, presentation, communication, influencing and people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment and execute with urgency, while maintaining the ability to apply sound judgement
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and business acumen

The below skills and experience would be advantageous:

  • A range of HRIS solutions or modules (e.g. EC, Learning Management, Recruitment, Talent etc), experience of Dayforce would be a significant advantage
  • Service Now or similar case management tools/products
  • DocuSign or similar document management solutions
  • Reporting and Data Extraction/Manipulation Tools
  • Interface design and technology options
  • System implementations and data migration
