Paint Technician

What you will be doing:

  • Providing technical direction and assistance to the manufacturer regarding use of product lines
  • Responding to complex questions and concerns from manufacturers regarding products and process issues
  • Representing the supplier as an expert in paint technology
  • Analysing product data to provide the manufacturer with quality improvements
  • Working closely with the customers' technical and manufacturing teams to support product quality
  • Preparing accurate and timely technical reports
  • Running and supporting new product trials.
  • Maintaining material stock and placing orders ensuring the customer site has adequate stock to run production.

What you will need:

  • Technical knowledge and expertise regarding paint applications in an automotive or manufacturing setup
  • Colour matching ability
  • Good communication skills and comfort in communicating with customers.

What you will receive:

A salary of £40,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience - inclusive of car allowance) + pension, (matched up to 5%), etc.

The working hours

You will work a rotating pattern of one week of 6am-1pm and 11am-6pm.
