Your new role
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for various finance tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of financial processes and accurate financial record-keeping.You will produce and distribute sales invoices on a monthly basis, generate and distribute customer statements, chase debts and reconciliation of accounts and deal with queries and issue credits for any errors and ensure this is followed up and authorised for payment.
You will maintain and reconcile sales invoicing with the Placement Table to ensure accurate invoices are produced.
Working with the Placement Team and other staff to ensure the invoices are accurately produced and assist in the IPAs sent by the Local Authorities, ensuring the forms are signed and returned. You will be responsible for daily monitoring and reconciliation of bank statements and allocation of customer receipts and other financial accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a finance team, working knowledge of accounting principles and experience of using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Xero.
You will show excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping and have a communication first mindset.
What you'll get in return
Up to £27,000 pa plus benefits.
