- They take on the responsibility of planning and leading specific learning activities or interventions, working independently to improve student learning outcomes.
- An HLTA contributes to the assessment process by observing students, recording progress, and providing feedback to teachers, helping to refine instructional strategies to better meet students' needs.
- They work closely with students who have special educational needs or disabilities, adapting learning materials and methods to ensure all students can access the curriculum effectively.
- In addition to their instructional duties, HLTAs handle administrative tasks such as preparing resources, organizing materials, and assisting with school events, ensuring smooth operations within the school.
