Job Title: Sales Order Administrator
Location: Bushey, Watford
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
Summary of Position:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client, a book distributor, as a Sales Order Administrator. The Sales Order Administrator will be expected to work well in a small team and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer queries, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Respond to customer queries via telephone and email in a professional manner.
- Assist customers with product information and purchasing decisions.
- Process orders, credit notes and returns efficiently.
- Support the travelling sales team out on the road visiting customers.
- Collaborate with other departments to assist in the smooth running of the office.
- Provide telephone/email support to the third-party contract warehouse.
- Maintain and expand the virtual catalogue.
- Take ownership of stock control, primarily monitoring goods-in and reporting/querying discrepancies with suppliers.
- Ad-hoc projects that can include contributions to the website, CRM databases, trade shows, marketing and social media.

- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at any time.
