Frazer Jones is delighted to work exclusively with a Northampton based business, to recruit a Talent Manager/Specialist. As Talent Specialist, you will play an integral role on the UK HR Team, creating a best-in-class recruitment and selection offering for both your internal customers and external hires. You will incorporate wider group processes to build an internal talent pool that ensures a strong pipeline of future talent and a robust approach to succession planning.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Overseeing the candidate experience across attraction, recruitment, onboarding and through probationary periods.
  • Understanding business requirements to efficiently and effectively fill vacancies.
  • Identifying candidates through headhunting, direct approach, Linkedin and web tracking
  • Advertising job vacancies and applications management.
  • Screening CVs using various tools (job boards, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Developing brand presence to drive direct talent traffic and ultimately reduce agency spend.
  • Ongoing development and negotiation of preferred supplier relationships.
  • Establish lasting partnerships with education establishments, promoting the Business as an Employer of Choice to attract high calibre, next generation candidates.
  • Building sound relationships with managers and Directors to understand their requirements both short & longer term.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on interview techniques and hiring best practices.
  • Managing and analysing exit interviews, providing analysis and feedback to the SLT.
  • Statistical analysis of the recruitment and selection process including time to fill & retention rates.

To be considered for this role you will be a proven, successful senior resourcing/talent acquisition specialist with a proactive approach as well as the drive and resilience to build an industry-leading function. You are solutions-orientated, entrepreneurial and thrive in a fast paced demanding environments.

Ideally you have experience within Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Retail or similar and/or be used to working in a fast-paced environment. This is a superb opportunity to work with significant autonomy in a fast growth, scale-up business with the ability to make a quick impact. You will be adept at building sound stakeholder relationships and possess the passion and the wider sense of 'team' to take an active involvement in wider HR discussions.
