Description
- Preparing and presenting accurate and timely management accounts.
- Assisting in the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasting.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysing financial performance and making long-term forecasts.
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice on financial decisions.
- Ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
- Implementing cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
- Conducting risk assessments of financial operations.
- Liaising with external auditors and managing internal controls.
Profile
A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CIMA/ACCA Studier/ QBE
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
