Your new company
Well known Local Authority in London with a prestigious portfolio of properties seeking to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their existing team on a rolling contract basis. You will be working in an affluent part of London with a variety of local amenities close by and great transport links via bus and tube stations.
Your new role
You will be working predominantly on the corporate/commercial portfolio of stock to ensure that the organisation's expectations are met in line with building regulations, RICS guidelines and ensure that all scope of works are adhered to as per contractual agreements.
You will oversee maintenance and repair works, ensuring high standards and cost-effectiveness.
Our client is committed to maintaining and enhancing their community's commercial properties and therefore, a successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and efficiency of our clients' commercial buildings.
What you'll need to succeed
MRICS chartered status is essential.
Experience of working in a public sector organisation is desirable but not essential.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well across a number of teams/departments.
Proven experience of conducting detailed building surveys and preparing reports.
