Marketing and PR Specialist (6 month Maternity cover)

Global beauty company are looking for a experienced Marketing & PR specialist to join their central London team. Hybrid working 2 days a week in the office, 3 days remote.

This position is responsible for supporting the formulation and execution of programmes through effective Product, Consultant and Integrated Marketing communication. The Marketing & PR Specialist will need to be continuously aware of the Market needs and conditions and implement marketing plans as needed. Good time management and ability to work under pressure is essential for this position.

This role will work alongside all members of the Sales & Marketing Team, including the Digital Marketing Team. Under the guidance of the Senior Supervisor, Sales & Marketing and Sales & Marketing Manager, you will oversee all marketing plans, projects, advertising and promotional activities as well as provide comprehensive support for the content of Sales Force Training, Education and Events.

Campaign Planning & Communication

  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns for the Sales & Marketing strategies, including all key events, ensuring a strong communication plan with all required stakeholders.
  • Source all campaign support materials and negotiate costs.
  • Implement clear campaign communications both internally and externally.
  • Assist with the development of the Sales & Marketing strategy and campaign planning.

PR, Advertising & PR Events

  • Manage all in house PR duties.
  • Develop and support the PR campaign; draft press releases, gifting, email blasts etc.
  • Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available channels.
  • Supporting Advertising & PR Strategy.

Product Development & Launches

  • Analyse the market and competitors.

Online Content Management

  • Support the Digital Marketing Team with content for consumer websites and InTouch magazine ncluding new product launches, marketing campaigns, compensation plan changes and ensuring websites are kept up to date.

Forecasting

  • Support the Finance Team to plan and forecast stock and sales of promotional items.
  • Analyse historic data, trends and past promotions supporting financial data.
  • Support the Finance Team on monthly flash reporting on new product launches.

Events & Meetings

  • Attend company events and provide support as required.
  • Assist with product promotions throughout the year especially key events.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Team with collateral and content for brand awareness and key Sales Force events.
