Our client, a prestigious barristers' chambers based near Chancery Lane is seeking a Fees Clerk Assistant to join their expanding finance team. This position will provide administration, billing and credit control support to the two Senior Fees Clerks.

As a Fees Clerk Assistant your core duties will include:

  • Providing billing support and issuing invoices & fee notes in a timely manner
  • Credit Control - liaising with instructing solicitors for outstanding fees owed to Counsel
  • Aged debt reporting, and informing the Senior Fees Clerks on any problematic accounts
  • Entering cheques and BACS payments in the LEX diary management system
  • Sending fees received correspondence
  • Managing the Fees email inbox and resolving queries
  • General administration and completing ad hoc tasks

To be considered for this position you will be:

  • A meticulous individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Experienced in the above duties and be proficient using LEX
  • A calm and patient individual with a flexible attitude
