IT Systems & Business Analyst

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Systems and Business Analyst to join their site in South Wales on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the day to day support of ERP and reporting systems across the group at a busy time of transition and change.

Role Responsibilties

First point of contact for day-to-day support of ERP and reporting systems across the Group

Support the design and implementation of new business systems and processes being rolled out across the Group

Provide training on processes and systems group wide

Monitor, report and enforce compliance with processes and controls linked to ERP and reporting systems

Own and enact a process of continuous improvement in use of IT systems

To provide business information, not data, to support decision-making

Work with local and Executive management teams to better capture, report and analyse business information, contributing to improved commercial, operational and financial performance

Will involve frequent travel to group sites to support

Key Technical Requirements

Highly proficient in the use of Office 365 (including SharePoint administration)

Functional and technical knowledge of ERP (preferably Business Central (Nav) or Dynamics 365 or similar tier of ERP)

Experience in data visualisation and reporting - preferably Power BI and Reporting Services

Practical experience of designing and implementing processes and controls linked to IT systems

Can use relevant techniques to probe the data, check facts and gain a clear understanding of relevant issues
