My client in Wincanton is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 2 qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience or be a qualified Level 3 technician. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct routine vehicle servicing and inspections.
- Carry out MOT tests (if qualified).
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work space.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Level 2 automotive qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience or Level 3 qualification.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of vehicles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Full UK driving license.
