About the Job:

As a Finance Manager, you will oversee daily financial operations, ensuring that all statutory obligations are met with robust financial controls. Your responsibilities will include improving financial processes, managing audits, and providing essential support to the finance team.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a small team focused on transactional activities, including Sales and Purchase Ledgers.
  • Leading month-end processes to achieve a tighter close.
  • Overseeing monthly Treasury management, including payment cycles, cashflow monitoring, and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Preparing and reconciling monthly bank statements and balance sheets.
  • Handling capital expenditure reporting and analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT returns and audit management.
  • Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and financial training across the organisation.

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will have strong financial management experience with a background in statutory compliance and financial controls. You should be adept at managing a small team and possess excellent analytical and reporting skills. Experience with Treasury management and audit preparation is essential.
