I am working with a lovely family business looking to add an additional team member in form of a Bookkeeper.
The role will include:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering any data into Xero
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank balances
- Completing VAT returns
- Verifying accuracy of business accounts and making the Finance Director aware of any discrepancies
- Preparing employee wages
- Managing employee expense claims
- Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- Answering queries from clients/agents/internal & external organisations
- Keeping records organised and updated
You will have:
- Experience in Xero Accounts, any other system/software experience is an advantage
- Strong bookkeeping skills and experience
- A 'can do' positive attitude with strong communication skills
In return you will receive:
- A salary up to £30,000 full time equivalent
- 24 days annual leave, plus an additional 3 days at Christmas
