This is a well established charity that provides a variety of services supporting women, men & children who have been victims of abuse. They access the community to support victims as part of commissioned contracts to offer a holistic & trauma informed to these individuals.

Your new role
Your new role as a Domestic Abuse Advocate is to support services within the Birmingham Family Court in relation to private law proceedings. This service is commissioned by the Police & Crime Commissioner and the aim of the programme is to provide better support to children & families that are involved in the private law proceedings, with enhanced support to victims/survivors of domestic abuse.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in being shortlisted for this position, you will have a good understanding of interpersonal violence and abuse, its impact on men and experience of case management. You will have compassion, empathy & excellent interpersonal skills. You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle that you are happy to use for work purposes.
