Requirements:
- **Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is essential.
- Experience teaching DT Product Design at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and contemporary teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in DT Product Design to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Product Design and incorporate them into your teaching practice.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, clubs, and events.
