Your new role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will transition from your background as an electrician to focus on designing electrical systems for various projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing electrical designs and specifications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and timelines.
- Conducting feasibility studies and site assessments.
- Utilising CAD software and BIM tools to create detailed electrical layouts.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Providing technical support during the construction phase.
- Participating in project meetings and effectively communicating with clients and stakeholders.
