HR Advisor 12 month FTC

Reed HR are looking for a dedicated HR Advisor to join our client in Kingston for a 12-month maternity cover.

This role is ideal for someone with a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent advisory experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR issues.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and organising interviews.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or significant HR advisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the use of HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
